Which Work At Home Should You Choose?

You have the potential to do well with both work at home options. It is just about deciding whether you feel more secure in having a job or more prefer owning your own business. As we all know, in this economy, both jobs and businesses have a similar level of security. When working from home, both a job and business have tax advantages (more so with the business), though you may not have the same time freedom with a job as you have with a business.

Here are a few things that you would want to consider:

In most cases, a home business or sales position provides the time freedom that you need; most jobs have a set schedule.

Do you already have a home office complete with a telephone, fax, computer, Internet service and ways to make copies if needed?

If you have children, you will need to keep in mind that some work at home companies require a quiet environment. Most will ask a home worker if this is the case and expect that you deliver.

Are you a person that like to receive the task and complete it, or do you prefer to manage the work load and needs. This is possible in a work at home job (i.e. management, freelance, team leader); most will have training and a certain set of requirements for you.
